First of all, I’m incredibly sorry for ghosting everyone for the past three weeks. My sudden disappearance was due to an unexpected injury: I severely sprained my right ankle back on May 4th, 2026.
It happened while I was out for a run at the park. I accidentally stepped on a large fruit or seed with full force, causing my ankle to twist violently. I literally screamed like a kid. At first, the pain was so intense that I thought I’d have to crawl my way out of the park. Somehow, I managed to limp back to my motorcycle. But being myself, I didn’t go straight home-I stopped by 7-Eleven to grab some milk first, because priorities, right?
From “It’s Probably Nothing” to a 4-Legged Walker
I’ve had minor ankle sprains before, so I initially thought this one would just go away. I was wrong. This one was serious. By the time I got home, my foot had swollen up like crazy and the pain was unbearable.

The next day, I went to see a doctor. Luckily, the X-ray showed no broken bones, but the doctor assured me that my tendons were in pretty bad shape. He put my right foot in a splint to keep it immobilized and strictly ordered me to rest and keep it elevated.

The medical bill for the first visit came out to around 8,000 THB (~$245 USD), with the entire treatment package capped at 10,000 THB (~$305 USD). Thankfully, my insurance covered it all. The doctor also granted me a medical certificate for two weeks of sick leave. For the first week, I couldn’t put any weight on my right leg at all, so I had to borrow my mom’s 4-legged walker just to move around the house.
Killing Time and Finding a Silver Lining
The first few days were tough. It felt like my foot was about to explode from the swelling. However, I tried to stay positive. I kept reminding myself that professional athletes get this kind of injury all the time and manage to make a full recovery in a matter of weeks or months-so I could do it too.
To be honest, I didn’t have the energy to write blog posts because my primary focus was just getting through the pain. To kill time and distract myself from the throbbing ache, I kept myself glued to Delta Force and immersed myself in gaming.
Now, three weeks later, my ankle is still visibly swollen, but I can finally walk on both legs again-albeit with a noticeable limp. I’m doing my best not to overdo it. Right now, stairs are my absolute enemy. Going up is manageable, but walking down is an absolute nightmare.
On the bright side, during my recovery week at home, I saw an announcement that the S.W.A.T. series is finally coming to Netflix Thailand! It wasn’t available here before, so I guess I’ve found another perfect way to pass the time while my tendons heal.
Thank you all for your patience and for sticking around. I needed that time to focus on my recovery, but I’m glad to be back!
